Stores Security's Data Intelligence & Analytics team is seeking a security-focused Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive our mission of revolutionizing security operations through advanced analytics and automated solutions. We're looking for a leader with deep security expertise who can not only transform how we measure and track security outcomes but also shape Amazon's overall security posture and maturity.
Our team goes beyond traditional data analytics. We're at the forefront of developing a comprehensive security posture framework that will drive security maturity across Amazon's Stores organization. We're building a centralized analytics platform that consolidates data from thousands of security sources, providing real-time visibility and predictive insights to security leaders and program owners.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of a security posture framework, leveraging your deep understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Drive strategic initiatives to standardize security metrics across diverse programs, working with security leaders to define key performance indicators and success criteria.
- Orchestrate the development of advanced analytics capabilities, collaborating with our data scientists to optimize security operations through AI and machine learning.
- Lead the implementation of automated MBR and Kingpin goal tracking systems, eliminating manual processes and enabling proactive performance management.
- Manage the rollout of self-service analytics capabilities, empowering security teams to access and analyze critical data independently.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate diverse security datasets into our unified platform, working closely with data engineers, BIEs, and security program owners.
- Develop and execute on a roadmap for enhancing our security analytics capabilities, including the adoption of advanced techniques like predictive analytics and anomaly detection.
This role requires a unique blend of security expertise, technical program management skills, and the ability to drive data-driven decision making. You'll work directly with security leaders and product owners to understand their challenges and translate them into actionable analytics solutions and security improvements.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive security posture framework for Stores, driving security maturity across the organization through data-driven insights and best practices.
- Spearhead the standardization of security metrics across diverse programs, collaborating with security leaders to define, implement, and govern unified measurement frameworks that align with strategic security goals.
- Orchestrate the integration of advanced analytics capabilities into security operations, partnering with data scientists to leverage AI and machine learning for predictive risk assessment and automated threat detection.
- Drive the automation of MBR tracking, transforming manual processes into real-time, data-driven performance management systems that enable proactive security decision-making.
- Manage the design and rollout of self-service analytics capabilities, empowering security teams with access to critical data while ensuring robust governance and quality standards.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across Stores Security, advocating for data-driven security practices and driving adoption of the unified metrics platform to enhance overall security posture.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that optimize security analytics processes, streamline data collection, and eliminate redundancies, ultimately enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations across Stores.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in system design
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to prioritize projects, tasks, and deliverables and manage dynamic priorities
- Technical Program Management experience influencing leadership and driving automation and standardization.
- Experience developing and delivering operational and program metrics

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
