Description
We're seeking an experienced Systems Development Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale identity solutions. As a Senior (L6) engineer, you'll drive technical excellence, architect complex IAM solutions, and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.
Key job responsibilities
1- Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the architecture and design of complex IAM solutions that scale across multiple services and regions
- Drive technical decisions and provide expertise in solving complex identity challenges
- Establish technical standards and best practices for IAM implementations
- Review and approve technical designs, ensuring alignment with security best practices and architectural principles
2 - Systems Development & Implementation
- Design and develop IAM solutions using modern programming languages and cloud technologies
- Create scalable and resilient authentication and authorization systems
- Implement advanced security controls and access management solutions
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IAM
3- Security & Compliance
- Design and implement security controls meeting industry standards and compliance requirements
- Develop automated security testing and validation frameworks
- Create and maintain security documentation and architectural diagrams
- Partner with security teams to address vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies
4 - Innovation & Optimization
- Research and evaluate new IAM technologies and methodologies
- Optimize existing IAM systems for improved performance and scalability
- Develop automation solutions to streamline IAM operations
- Create solutions for complex identity challenges
5 - Collaboration & Mentorship
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Lead technical discussions and present solutions to stakeholders
- Contribute to the technical community through knowledge sharing and best practices
Basic Qualifications
- Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
