Description
We are looking for a process-oriented program manager to drive commercial operations supporting Amazon’s Live Sports subscription business. The Sports Partnerships Team within Prime Video brings a growing selection of live sports content to Amazon customers around the world, including NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA and NHL for Prime members, and NBA League Pass and MLB.tv through Prime Video Channels (PVC).
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and will build operational efficiencies. In this role, you will work across different teams internally and externally to ensure the success of key properties on PVC, and invent and simplify our processes as we continue to scale our Channels business. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, uses problem solving skills to overcome a variety of challenges. This individual should be highly proficient in Excel and have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate thoughts and ideas, both written and verbally.
Key job responsibilities
• Own financial setup, inputs and payments for our channels business.
• Manage the configuration and approvals processes for subscription royalties and accounting.
• Deep dive any issues for root cause and resolution.
• Manage business reporting to meet both internal and external requirements.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve customer service, returns and transaction policies.
• Partner with Business Intelligence and technology partners to build internal analytics tools to find efficiencies in live sports channels business performance tracking.
• Support the Content Acquisition Team in deal negotiations to drive operational improvements.
• Partner with internal marketing teams to confirm all marketing assets are delivered on time and ready for launch.
• Drive process improvement efforts and work to identify gaps/inefficiencies in internal workflows and standardize processes to make workflows more efficient.
• Work closely with accounts payable to resolve any partner payment inquiries.
• Drive partner operations and program management requirements for sports channels property launches.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Preferred Qualifications
- Excel and SQL proficiencies
- Background in program management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $167,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
