    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Endpoint/Linux Engineer to support Amazon Fresh technology as it transitions to our team. The ideal candidate will focus on supporting retail endpoint devices (scales/printers) that integrate with Linux systems in AWS.

     

    Key job responsibilities

     

    - Support and maintain retail endpoint devices integrated with Linux systems in AWS

     

    - Manage and troubleshoot Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu Linux operating systems

     

    - Develop and implement solutions for retail endpoint devices, particularly scales and printers

     

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between enterprise (AWS and on-prem) server solutions and retail devices

     

    - Contribute to DevOps practices and release management for production environments

    Basic Qualifications

    -experience with Linux, primarily Red Hat Linux

     

    - experience as a DevOps engineer releasing to production environments

     

    - experience with Bash and Python scripting

     

    - experience with AWS console access

     

    - Proficiency in Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu Linux operating systems

     

    - Experience with Bizerba and Mettler Toledo hardware and software

     

    - Familiarity with endpoint devices for retail operations, such as scales and printers

    Preferred Qualifications

    -experience with Mettler Toledo / Bizerba systems

     

    - retail endpoint experience

     

    - Experience with device engineering, including printers and control systems

     

    - Strong understanding of integration between enterprise server solutions and retail devices
