Description
The PM will assist the Training and Certification (T&C) executive in the day-to-day management of business and operations. The candidate must strive in a dynamic, fast paced environment while balancing a mix of program, operational, and strategic responsibilities. This role will play an important role in the business planning process and will work closely with our Strategy and Operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have proven executive level communication skills. They will be organized, detail-oriented, have a knack for problem solving, driving consistency and efficiency across the organization. In addition, this candidate must uphold a high standard of integrity and discretion and tactfully handle high-level confidential matters.
Key job responsibilities:
- Facilitate progress of executive goals and targets
- Work with leaders and stakeholders to drive project execution and deliver on agreed-to project requirements
- Identify efficiency opportunities and drive associated initiatives to improve performance and success of the organization
- Engage with finance and operations to help make data-driven decisions
- Engage Amazon wide on T&C initiatives and manage mechanism for synergetic team connections
- Support the annual planning process, headcount allocation, and portfolio management for T&C
- Drive accountability for action items needed to drive business goals forward
- Set and drive regular cadence of communications to various internal stakeholders
- Prepare updates and business reviews for internal leaders
A day in the life:
A successful PM in this role will make the executive's role more efficient and scalable, and will work with other leaders to drive the business forward. They will obtain deep knowledge and expertise in large scale business and technical operations, and is expected to develop a broad understanding of business and operations across T&C and Global Services.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 10+ years of program or project management experience
- 10+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience working closely with training products
- Experience working in a sales/partner environment
