Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Production Operations Senior Program Manager 3.** This position is located in **Roy, UT** and supports the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
+ Develop Sentinels transition to production strategy, considering capability, capacity, and constraints at current and future NGDS SDS sites as well as other Northrop Grumman and subcontractor sites
+ Work with SDS capture management team members to provide best value solution to US Government customer
+ Work with team of Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Master Production Scheduling and Global Supply Chain professionals to Identify optimal production ramp up rate to reduce cost, schedule and technical risk while scaling to full-rate production.
+ Collaborate with other Northrop Grumman sites and key suppliers to develop scaling plan which meets production needs and minimizes WIP and finished goods storage
+ Supports authoring and release of Customer Delivery Requirements List (SDRL) items relating to production scaling and transition to production
+ Support MRA events to drive robust planning for future build rates
+ Develop and implement a common format to identify risks and contains to meeting production rates across Northop Grumman and key supplier sites.
+ Present key information and status to ELT team members, Division Staff and USG customers

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
+ Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
+ A minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience in a production environment
+ Minimum of 3 years in formal management position.
+ 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar field
+ Understanding of Industrial Engineering and manufacturing processes
+ Experience collaborating with multiple functional groups, companies and government customer representatives
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
+ A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
+ Current Special Access Program approval
+ Previous experience with MRA
+ Demonstrated experience with risk based thinking related to meeting run rates and delivering results

Salary Range: $161,500.00 - $242,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
