Senior Director of Human Resources – Bohler
At Bohler, we empower the ambitious to become the accomplished. We are seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead and evolve our firmwide HR Business Partner (HRBP) function. This is a pivotal leadership role that blends strategy and execution to align people, performance, and business outcomes across the enterprise.
As the senior-most HRBP leader, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief People Officer and senior leadership, while directly managing a high-performing, geographically distributed team of HR Business Partners. You will also act as the embedded HR leader for our Operational Services Team (OST), supporting internal corporate functions.
What You’ll Do
+ Champion and optimize a firmwide HRBP model aligned with business goals and the employee experience, inspired by Ulrich’s framework.
+ Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Chief People Officer and senior leaders on enterprise planning, people strategy, and organizational effectiveness.
+ Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of HRBPs, fostering consistency, engagement, and impact across divisions.
+ Personally support OST leadership with hands-on guidance in performance management, organizational design, and talent planning.
+ Drive company-wide employee engagement using tools like eNPS and engagement analytics.
+ Partner with Talent Development to align leadership pipelines, career paths, and succession planning with business needs.
+ Lead HR efforts for organizational change and transitions.
+ Manage high-impact employee relations cases, particularly within OST.
+ Elevate performance management through structured routines and leader coaching.
+ Collaborate across HR to refine core processes and improve operational effectiveness.
What You Bring
+ 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HRBP leadership and success in driving organizational growth.
+ Proven experience leading a geographically distributed HRBP team.
+ Strong business acumen and experience partnering with internal service teams (e.g., Finance, IT, Legal).
+ Demonstrated success in coaching senior leaders and resolving complex employee relations issues.
+ Expertise in influencing, cross-functional collaboration, and leading change.
+ High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and exceptional communication skills.
+ Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred).
+ Experience across multiple HR disciplines (e.g., Talent, DEI, Total Rewards) is highly valued.
