Our client, a mission-driven organization dedicated to fostering positive change in the community, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead their HR operations. If you have experience creating people-first strategies and aligning HR practices with organizational goals, this role could be the perfect step for you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.

    + Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and strategies that align with the organization's mission and values.

    + Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the hiring of diverse, mission-aligned talent.

    + Administer employee benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, professional certifications, and leave policies.

    + Monitor compliance with labor laws, nonprofit reporting requirements, and organizational policies, maintaining up-to-date records.

    + Foster a culture of inclusion and engagement through employee development, diversity initiatives, and team-building efforts.

    + Develop and deliver training and development programs to upskill employees and leaders.

    + Use HR analytics to track trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making.

    + Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff, providing guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, and career development.

    Requirements

    + 4+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a management role.

    + Experience in the nonprofit sector is strongly preferred but not required.

    + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification highly desirable).

    + Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and labor compliance, including nonprofit-specific reporting requirements.

    + Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); Workday, ADP, or similar systems is a plus.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

    + Proven experience creating and leading diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

    + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
