Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong accounting skills and proficiency in managing billing, cash handling, and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in ERP systems and accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and reconciliation.

• Perform accurate billing functions and ensure timely collection of payments.

• Handle cash activities, including deposits, postings, and account balancing.

• Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to maintain financial records and streamline workflows.

• Analyze and report on accounts receivable performance metrics to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.

• Maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures while ensuring data accuracy.

• Conduct regular audits of accounts receivable transactions to identify and rectify errors.

• Provide excellent customer service when addressing client inquiries related to billing and payments. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable and accounting functions.

• Proficiency in using ERP systems and accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of billing processes and cash handling.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports.

• Effective communication skills for resolving discrepancies and interacting with clients.

• Familiarity with financial compliance standards and practices.

• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
