Description
We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial and data analysis to support reporting and decision-making efforts. This is a long-term contract position ideal for professionals with a strong background in SAP Business One and financial reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial analyses to support planning and decision-making processes.
• Utilize SAP Business One at an advanced level to optimize financial reports.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to define and implement reporting requirements.
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for financial reporting systems.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and financial performance metrics.
• Assist in upgrades or implementations of financial systems, representing the finance team.
• Develop and use intermediate Excel functions, including pivots and lookups, to manage and analyze data.
Requirements
• Proficiency with SAP Business One, including advanced reporting capabilities.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis and experience with month-end close procedures and general ledger reconciliation.
• Ability to perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for financial systems if needed.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
