Siemens Energy Gas Services Central Large Generator
Manufacturing Business Segment is hiring a Factory Controlling Financial
Analyst to be an integral member of this highly visible, dynamic, and
hard-working team! As a member of the finance team, you will have primary
responsibility to provide transparent and all-encompassing factory controlling
for the Charlotte Gas Turbine factory, ensuring all processes including
Forecast, Budgeting, Month End Closing, and Performance Reviews are organized
neatly and accurately, critical metrics are controlled in large detail, and
processes are optimized to suit the business needs!
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
+ Actas a finance partner for LGN Gas Turbine Factory Operations, supportingboth operational execution and strategic financial initiatives.
+ Managemonthly closing activities, including accruals, journal entries,forecasting, and actuals reporting across all departmental cost centers.
+ Ensureaccurate allocation and reporting of scrap and rework non-conformancecosts, with detailed data analysis and variance explanations.
+ Leadannual budget development and perform utilization, absorption, and hourlyrate cost analyses to support financial planning and cost control.
+ Evaluatebusiness-cases for capital expenditures and develop critical metrics tosupervise and improve operational and financial performance.
+ Consolidatesophisticated financial data and topics into clear, actionablepresentations for management decision-making.
What You Bring (requirements)
+ Bachelor’sdegree in accounting, finance or closely related field
+ 2+years experience in operational controlling and cost accounting
+ Strongunderstanding of cost center structures, rates, allocations, and burdens,with the ability to grasp basic technical processes and drive continuousimprovement.
+ Demonstratesleadership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills, with a flexibleapproach and a strong willingness to learn and collaborate optimally.
+ Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power
generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power
generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and
digitalization of the fleet.
