Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description
This position provides essential administrative support to the Quality Engineering department, facilitating the exchange of data and information with both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
+ Initiate document requests internally to support quality activities.
+ Assist Quality Engineering with administrative tasks.
+ Develop customer submittal of documents.
+ Maintain quality records.
+ Compile records for customer review.
+ Distribute customer documents internally as required.
+ Transmit documents to customers.
+ Maintain record storage and records library.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
+ Experience with ERP systems, ideally EPICOR, though past experience with any ERP is acceptable.
+ Two to three years of administrative experience in a business environment within disciplines such as quality, engineering, or human resources.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience within a quality department is a plus.
+ Associate degree in Business or a related discipline is preferred, though a high school diploma with additional professional experience is acceptable.
+ Excellent computer skills.
Work Environment
The role is based in a cubicle area alongside a team in a relatively quiet setting. There may be occasions to visit the production floor within the manufacturing facility. The schedule is either five 8-hour days (8:00-4:30) or four 9-hour days with a 4-hour Friday (8:00-5:30 M-Th, 8:00-12:00 Fri). The dress code is business casual, allowing jeans but no sneakers. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, will be provided as needed when on the production floor.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
