We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to perform essential purchasing duties and maintain updated records. The role involves assisting with administrative tasks and facilitating communication with vendors.
Responsibilities
+ Perform purchasing duties and maintain accurate records.
+ Assist with various administrative tasks.
+ Communicate effectively with vendors to ensure smooth operations.
+ Manage purchase orders and vendor relationships.
+ Perform data entry tasks related to purchasing activities.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in purchasing and vendor management.
+ Strong administrative support skills.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent customer service skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is a plus.
+ Familiarity with procurement software or ERP systems is advantageous.
Work Environment
You will initially work on-site for five days a week with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule, including one remote workday as you become more familiar with the company and your responsibilities. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
