    Job Summary

    The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Systems is a leadership role responsible for supporting and optimizing the entire supply chain, focusing on the systems and technologies that support it. This includes managing and implementing technology solutions and the overall technical architecture of the supply chain. The role will support the strategic planning, integration and consolidation of Supply Chain systems, technology and information for Dorman Products that will enable growth, support achievement of critical business objectives and drive sustainable improvements in inventory and service level performance.

    Primary Duties

    + Executing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This involves implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

    + Utilizing data analytics to identify trends, optimize operations, and make data-driven decisions.

    + Leading the implementation of new technologies and solutions to improve supply chain performance. This may include cloud-based solutions, AI, or other advanced technologies.

    + Working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials.

    + Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives to optimize the supply chain end-to-end.

    + Developing a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship and coaching.

    + Implement technology and systems roadmap to drive towards best-in-class systems and data to enable the supply chain

    Qualifications

    + Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a team.

    + Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives

    + Expertise in supply chain systems, Planning Systems, ERP, WMS, TMS and other relevant technologies.

    + Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to identify and resolve complex problems

    + Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

    + A deep understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.

    + Proven track record of driving major improvements in supply chain processes and systems that yield significant sustainable improvements in customer delivery performance and inventory turnover.

     

    Education / Experience

     

    + BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

    + Minimum of 5 years supply chain experience with demonstrated responsibility progression

    + Experience in a high SKU count business serving large US retailers.

    + APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is preferred.
