    Job Summary

    The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Service & Analytics is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the process of moving product from suppliers to customers. The Senior Manager ensures efficiency and customer satisfaction as the benchmark for strong customer collaboration. He/She will work closely with cross functional partners in Demand, Supply, Procurement, Distribution and Transportation to analyze & root cause service misses. The Senior Manager will work with these partners to drive a pro-active response toward continuous improvement actions that improve overall service, cost & cash. The Senior Manager will partner closely with our analytics team to improve the reporting and tools that diagnose service performance at Dorman. The role will lead projects for Dorman Products that will enable growth, support achievement of critical business objectives and drive sustainable improvements in inventory and service level performance.

    Primary Duties

    + Coordinating the supply chain: This involves managing relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.

    + Utilizing data analytics to identify trends, optimize operations, and make data-driven decisions. Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement

    + Monitoring inventory levels, minimizing costs, and ensuring timely availability of products.

    + Working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials.

    + Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives to optimize the supply chain end-to-end.

    + Leading and developing a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship and coaching.

    + Create a technology and systems roadmap to drive towards best-in-class systems and data to enable the supply chain

    Qualifications

    + Analytical Skills for analyzing data, identifying problems, and making informed decisions.

    + Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a team.

    + Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives

    + Expertise in supply chain systems, ERP, WMS, and other relevant technologies.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    + Ability to identify and resolve complex problems

    + Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

    + A deep understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.

    + Proven track record of driving major improvements in supply chain processes and systems that yield significant sustainable improvements in customer delivery performance and inventory turnover.

     

    Education / Experience

     

    + BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

    + Minimum of 5 years supply chain experience with demonstrated responsibility progression

    + Experience in a high SKU count business serving large US retailers.

    + APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is preferred.
