Description
Thompson Solutions Group is looking for a talented Mechanical BIM Designer to become an integral part of our innovative team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating mechanical design and developing detailed BIM models across a diverse range of construction projects. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of each project, making you a vital member of our collaborative design team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. A minimum of two years of experience in mechanical design using Autodesk Production Software (Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks), Bluebeam, and related tools. Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to produce comprehensive plan sets for client distribution and a strong ability to visualize construction projects in 3D. Knowledge of HVAC, hydronic, and plumbing systems and components. Experience with mechanical prefabrication software such as PractiRev is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with team members, clients, and other professionals. Self-motivated, with the ability to solve problems independently and a passion for learning and implementing new technologies to enhance client satisfaction. Physical ability to walk job sites, stand, sit for extended periods, bend, kneel, and operate office and job site equipment. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to travel to meetings and job sites as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
