Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our Raleigh office is actively expanding its civil team and is seeking talented individuals—from Designers to Project Managers—who are committed to excellence in project delivery and innovation. In this role, you will engage with a diverse portfolio of high-profile, brand-name clients, enabling you to build and nurture strategic industry relationships. You will also receive rigorous training in the financial aspects of project production—including contract drafting, proposal development, and budget management—while refining your presentation skills for effective interactions with local planning and zoning bodies.

Additionally, you will enhance your technical mastery in site design and hands-on plan preparation, paving the way to mentor and develop your own team of design professionals. The opportunity also provides a comprehensive overview of the project management lifecycle, from initial scoping through to final closeout.

Prospective candidates must have experience in land development, AutoCAD Civil 3D, civil engineering, and design, along with proficiency in site development, project management, stormwater management, and erosion control. Experience in commercial projects is highly desirable.Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to learn quickly, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic.

+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.

+ Engineer in Training (EIT) OR Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

+ Practical experience with civil engineering technology (AutoCAD Civil3D).

Work Environment

Will work out of the Raleigh office and be in office 3-4 days a week, with the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
