    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Interior Mechanics to support a high-profile VIP interior completion project on BBJ 737 aircraft in Georgetown, Delaware. This is a unique opportunity to work on luxury aircraft interiors in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. As an Interior Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of high-end aircraft interiors, including cabinetry, upholstery, carpeting, finishes, and paint to meet exacting customer standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and refurbish high-end aircraft interiors.

    + Work with cabinetry, upholstery, carpeting, finishes, and paint.

    + Ensure all installations meet exacting customer standards.

    + Perform interior component removals and installations.

    + Lead and guide other mechanics when needed.

    + Utilize basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.

    + Maintain attention to detail and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

    Essential Skills

    + 3–5+ years of experience with VIP aircraft interiors.

    + Proven expertise in interior component removals and installations.

    + Ability to lead and guide other mechanics.

    + Skilled in upholstery, cabinetry, carpeting, finishes, and paint.

    + Proficient with basic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with corporate jets or helicopters.

    + Knowledge of sheet metal, structural assembly, and tooling.

    + Familiarity with aerospace and aviation standards.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints and perform inspections.

    + Understanding of electrical and woodworking techniques.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is primarily in a hangar/outside setting. There are 1st and 2nd shift schedules available, with the majority of candidates working 2nd shift. Hours are Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm for 1st shift and Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm for 2nd shift. Candidates must be open to both shifts.

    This is a Contract position based out of Georgetown, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
