Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by assisting with setups, changeovers, and production runs. This position involves counting finished goods, heavy lifting of products, and staging orders. The associate must have flexibility to assist on different lines and fill in where needed. Following direct orders from leads and lead operators, the associate will perform labor tasks and support all parts of the production line.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with setups, changeovers, and production runs

+ Count finished goods accurately

+ Perform heavy lifting of products up to 50 lbs

+ Stage orders for production

+ Provide flexibility to assist on different lines and fill in as needed

+ Follow direct orders from leads and lead operators

+ Perform various labor tasks throughout the production line

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, general production, machine operation, and inspection

+ Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs

+ Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day

+ Willingness and ability to learn computer systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with machine operation and inspection

+ Capability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
