    Job Title: Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Construction Laborer, working from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential overtime based on project needs. You will perform general labor tasks such as demolition, loading and unloading materials, digging, and clean-up to support daily operations at a construction site. Your role is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site, contributing significantly to the overall project success.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general labor tasks including demolition, loading/unloading, digging, and clean-up.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient construction site.

    + Support daily operations and contribute to overall project success.

    + Use hand and power tools effectively.

    + Operate forklifts and other small machinery when required.

    + Adhere to safety precautions and OSHA standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years' experience in a commercial or large residential job setting.

    + Ability to speak about safety precautions in a construction environment.

    + OSHA 10 certification.

    + Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

    + Experience with scissor lifts and scaffolding.

    + Ability to measure accurately using tape measures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with field concepts, practices, and procedures.

    + Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.

    + Ability to work safely on projects.

    + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules and manuals.

    + Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions.

    + Ability to pass checks, drug screens, and physical capacity profiles.

    + Reliable transportation to and from work.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work outdoors regularly, often near moving mechanical parts. The role occasionally requires work in high places and exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
