    Job Title: Maintenance Clerk

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance team. This position involves mechanical assembly, machine set up and operation, as well as setting up stations with raw materials and loading materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the repair of HVAC, plumbing, conveyors, motors, or production equipment.

    + Retrieve, carry, and clean tools and parts to ensure efficient workflow.

    + Maintain a clean environment, including organizing parts and tools.

    + Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe work environment.

    + Record maintenance work and parts usage accurately.

    + Pick order tickets and manage inventory using the first-in, first-out method.

    + Complete confined space training.

    + Order parts with suppliers.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.

    + Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

    + Physical stamina for standing and lifting tasks.

    + Willingness to take direction and maintain a positive attitude.

    + Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hand tools, mechanical tasks, customer service, data entry, chemical handling, industrial operations, and warehouse operation.

    + Experience as a maintenance helper or shipping clerk.

    + Skills in material handling.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in an industrial environment with a team of six employees. Steel toe boots and PPE gear are required and provided. Uniforms are also provided to ensure safety and professionalism.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
