    Job Title: Production Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Operator and contribute to the creation of materials for Tesla car batteries. You will work in a facility that mixes liquids and other materials, playing a crucial role in the production and batch area. This position involves unloading materials, accurately measuring and filling barrels, and operating machines to ensure smooth production flow. You will be trained to handle machine corrections and assist with cleanup of hazardous chemicals if necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload barrels and boxes of materials and store them in the warehouse section.

    + Separate and move materials that need to be mixed and activated.

    + Accurately measure, pour, and fill barrels and drums for shipment.

    + Operate machines to move product through each station using programmed settings.

    + Assist with cleanup of hazardous chemicals in case of spills.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to travel up and down stairs and navigate narrow aisles.

    + Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver at least 40 pounds.

    + Understanding of FIFO and hazardous chemical operations.

    + Knowledge of GMP, GDP, sampling procedures, and decontamination practices.

    + Proficiency in computer operating systems and safe handling practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working with electromagnets.

    + Familiarity with contamination prevention practices.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Sacramento, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
