Job Title: Supply Chain Associate
Job Description
As a Supply Chain Associate, you will support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies located on the nursing units and other user areas based on established par levels. You will recognize and communicate changes in supply needs, report recommendations to the supervisor for investigation, and adapt to such changes by supporting the need accordingly. Additionally, you will process all supply requests that are not automated via the Order Entry System for supplemental inventory needed to replenish an area, including open shelf par cart and supplemental Pyxis supplies based on unit needs. Ensuring appropriate inventory levels for medical and surgical supplies is a key responsibility, as is tracking and monitoring supply and equipment order requests.
Responsibilities
+ Support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies based on par levels.
+ Recognize and communicate changes in supply needs and report recommendations to the supervisor.
+ Process all supply requests not automated via the Order Entry System for supplemental inventory.
+ Ensure appropriate inventory levels for medical and surgical supplies.
+ Track and monitor supply and equipment order requests.
+ Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply and equipment orders.
+ Troubleshoot supply and equipment issues and resolve them promptly.
Essential Skills
+ Fluency in English.
+ Knowledge of medical supplies.
+ Experience in warehouse or stocking environments.
+ Ability to work independently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Hospital experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment offers multiple shift options: one opening for the first shift starting at either 5:00 am or 6:00 am, two openings for the shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and three openings for the shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
