The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00

A role on the **Automation, Asset, and Vendor Management Team** within Food Supply Chain (FSC) means being relentlessly focused on how we can drive Product Availability to our stores and guests through our relationships with 3rd party vendors as well as asset health within each Food Distribution Center. Our teams work with the agility our mission requires, and we constantly come together to implement and iterate new processes in record time. We’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, creative, independent, innovative, risk-savvy and comfortable working in varying degrees of ambiguity. You will work cross-functionally with external industry experts as well as internal Food & Beverage, Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL), and Store partners to support co-creation of solutions. These solutions will maintain or increase automation performance, improve speed and quality for replenishment activities, and reduce total operating costs. You will help scope a broad set of initiatives and ideas to help identify the specific problem, potential impact, and the resources needed to solve; you’ll also be actively engaged in developing solutions alongside experts from across the organization including GSCL, Field Operations, Stores, and Data Science.
As a **Lead Program Manager, Vendor Management in Food Supply Chain** , you will be responsible for the content prepared for routine vendor management meetings, tracking and driving the completion for all related actions items, creating and evolving the way we think about root causes analysis following disruptive events, as well as connecting critical success indicators to the broader organization (Field Operations and GSCL). The position will work across the enterprise to gather data, identify opportunities, and create sustainable routines to prioritize and implement solutions. This role will provide an ideal opportunity to work within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team managing across various levels of leadership, and operational teams. You will facilitate communication and alignment across FSC and GSCL on high profile initiatives to enable progress toward our goals. You will coordinate end to end process development for some initiatives and lead as a Sr. Manager to align scope, deliverables, resources, finances, and timelines. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. More specifically, you will:
+ Lead consistent vendor management routines: monthly and quarterly (becoming the ‘Face of Target’ for external partners as well as the ‘one front door’ for internal partner requests)
+ Ensure the completion of action items from Vendor Management routines
+ Own contract management for third party vendors
+ Manage vendor adherence to budget, bridging any gaps or savings with clear steps ahead (owners, timing, actions)
+ Manage the root cause analysis Smartsheet Ecosystem process and database as well as the communication plan to share insights with partner teams (internal and external)
+ Become a SME in the systems and relationships with third party vendors in Food Supply Chain: Witron, Swisslog, Amerit, etc.
+ Lead in the development of the Automation, Asset, and Vendor Management team roadmap for the future (how we will evolve, what we will prioritize, etc.)
About you:
+ B.S./M.S. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research or other related fields or equivalent experience
+ 4+ Years (or 2+ with Masters/MBA) experience in Operations, Engineering, or other related fields
+ Knowledge of lean six-sigma principles
+ Highly flexible and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
+ Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
+ Proven ability to use data analytics to drive changes/improvements in an operational environment
+ Ability to think critically and creatively problem solve (think outside the box)
+ Experience running well-coordinated time-based approaches to projects
+ Make decisions with limited guidance from manager or other leaders
Preferred skillsets/experience:
+ Understanding of operations within a distribution center (ideally a temperature-controlled environment) and/or technology within sites (Swisslog, Witron, etc.)
+ Supply chain experience in multiple supply chain business areas (functions)
+ Effective communication of complex concepts in written and verbal form with all levels, including senior level leaders
+ Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage relationships with team and key business partners
+ Excellent data analysis skills, data structuring, and data management abilities
+ Discipline and accountability to deliver upon self-established priorities and timelines
+ High sense of autonomy, urgency, initiative
+ Experience leveraging and managing work within Smartsheet tools
+ PMI, AGILE, PMP (Project Management Professional), Lean/6 Sigma/SmartSheet certifications
+ Ability to travel up to 20%
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
