• Warehouse Supervisor

    CDR Maguire (Miami, FL)


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Supervises the overall warehouse operations and daily activities of staff.

    + Oversees receiving and stowing, picking, and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation.

    + Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space.

    + Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials.

    + Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.

    + Implement strong safety policies and procedures.

    + Organize supplies and equipment throughout the warehouse.

    + Maintain inventory in addition to processing and packing orders to be delivered.

    + Verify orders prepared by warehouse staff are accurate before shipping.

    + Provide all documentation/information to drivers for pickup and delivery

    + You will always follow all OSHA safety guidelines.

    + Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

    OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

    Requirements

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

    + 5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory control experience.

    + 1-2 years of supervisory experience in related field preferred

    + Forklift certification highly preferred but not required.

    + Bilingual speaker, English, Spanish.

    + Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, etc.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.

    + The ability to make decisions.

    + The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

    + Ability to deal with high pressure

    + Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends

    + Travel 25% of the time when requested.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    + Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Prolonged periods of standing, walking, reaching and/or stooping.

    + Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at times.
