What You Can Expect
Gather relevant, factual information and data in order to solve quality related problems; formulate procedures, specifications, and standards for Zimmer products and processes; provide leadership for quality engineering projects from concept through design, implementation, testing, documentation, support, and maintenance; develop and implement corrective/preventative action plans; collect and analyze data for gauge and product evaluation; identify critical personnel, gauges, procedures, and materials needed for the completion of new product; ensure that suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products to Zimmer; responsible for gathering relevant, factual information and data in order to solve quality related problems; and resolve issues by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and guided precedents.

What Makes You Stand Out
Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related position.
Must have 3 years of experience with the following:
+ Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing;
+ QSR/ISO regulations;
+ engineering projects working on risk analysis, inspection requirements, and techniques;
+ applying statistical analysis for quality control/assurance such as Gage R&R, Capability Studies, Hypothesis Testing, and FDA-regulated industry experience;
+ leading Supplier Quality Engineering projects, supporting machining operations, IQ/OCt/PQ validations authoring or reviewing/approving protocols including End of Line (EOL) Processes such as Final Cleaning and final packaging, and Test Method Validations;
+ quality Systems auditing guidelines; and
+ working with suppliers on troubleshooting and resolution of Quality related issues during product manufacturing.
Your Background
+ Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering field, or foreign equivalent.
Travel Expectations
+ Requires up to 20% of Domestic Travel.
+ 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
