    Your role at Clorox:

    The Sales Planning Senior Analyst is a critical contributor to Clorox’s Sales Planning team, supporting the Customer Crew by transforming complex data into strategic insights. This role drives effective sales planning and performance management by analyzing customer and sales data, forecasting trends, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to improve execution. The analyst also plays a key role in supporting Net Revenue Management (NRM) initiatives to drive profitable, sustainable growth.

    In this role, you will:

    + **Sales & Customer Data Analysis**

    + Analyze syndicated, shipment, and internal performance data to identify trends and deliver insights that influence strategic decision-making.

    + Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and execution metrics across customer accounts.

    + Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting to support sales planning, promotional strategy, and performance optimization.

    + **Net Revenue Management (NRM)**

    + Partner with Sales Planning and Finance to analyze NRM levers such as pricing, pack/price architecture, trade investment, and customer mix.

    + Support customer-level P&L analysis to identify opportunities for revenue and margin improvement.

    + Provide insights on promotional effectiveness and ROI to enhance customer investment strategies.

    + Assess the impact of trade plans on gross-to-net performance and offer recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

    + **Sales Planning Support**

    + Collaborate with the Customer Crew to support annual and quarterly sales planning cycles.

    + Deliver insights on customer behavior, promotional execution, and trade strategy to guide planning decisions.

    + Assist with demand planning alignment and customer forecast validation.

    + **Cross-Functional Collaboration**

    + Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across customer and brand strategies.

    + Act as a liaison between field sales and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely information flow and execution support.

    + **Reporting and Tool Development**

    + Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide visibility into performance trends and strategic opportunities.

    + Continuously improve reporting processes to increase automation, accuracy, and efficiency.

    + **Project and Initiative Support**

    + Contribute to key initiatives, including sales process improvements, NRM strategies, and customer planning enhancements.

    + Support post-event analytics and customer business reviews with actionable recommendations.

    What we look for:

    + **Education:**

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    + **Experience:**

    + 5+ years of experience in sales analytics, customer strategy, sales planning, or Net Revenue Management in the CPG or retail industry.

    + Proven ability to turn data into strategic business actions and financial results.

    + **Technical Skills:**

    + Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

    + Experience with SQL and data modeling tools is a plus.

    + Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in large data sets.

    + **Soft Skills:**

    + Strong communication and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners.

    + Highly collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

    + Strong organizational and project management skills.

    Workplace type:

    The preference on hiring for this opportunity will be to have the ideal candidate located in either Oakland, CA, Bentonville, AK, Durham, NC, or Mason, OH based upon the business needs. If located within 50 miles of a Clorox Hub the role will abide by the Hybrid 2.0 Policy and be in office 3x per week.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

     

    •Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900

    •Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100

    •Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300

    This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
