The Future Talent Program features Cooperative (Co-op) education that lasts up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. We are Chemical Biology in the Quantitative Biosciences department at our company, where we leverage robust scientific methodology and state-of-the-art instrumentation to collaborate on driving the next medical breakthrough. Our mission is to advance the best drug candidates into the clinic by utilizing advanced capabilities that enable higher-resolution interrogations of novel biology and elucidation of mechanisms of action.

We are seeking a motivated Research Co-op to contribute to our discovery initiatives. The successful candidate will learn and execute experiments to study protein-protein interactions in live cells, gaining invaluable experience in the pharmaceutical research process

Duration: 4 months

Key Responsibilities:

+ Learn, develop, and optimize experiments for studying protein-protein interactions in human cell lines. The experiments include transient transfection and Western Blot.

+ Collaborate with team members to design and execute experiments.

+ Analyze and interpret experimental data, presenting findings to the team.

+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.

Learning Opportunities:

+ Gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge research techniques.

+ Develop skills in experimental design and data analysis.

+ Collaborate with experienced scientists in a fast-paced research environment.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Currently pursuing a BS/BA or Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Biology or a related field.

+ Demonstrated interest and experience in research areas relevant to biology or drug discovery.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with human cell culture.

+ Familiarity with transient transfection techniques.

+ Proficiency in protein analysis techniques (e.g., Western Blotting, ELISA).
