As a Customer Service Professional I, you’ll be the first point of contact for members, providers, and partners—delivering compassionate, knowledgeable support that keeps our community connected and cared for.

     

    • What You’ll Do:

    + Answer inbound calls regarding benefits, claims, eligibility, and prior authorizations

    + Provide empathetic, accurate, and efficient service on recorded phone lines

    + Educate members and providers using clear, professional communication

    + Navigate multiple systems and screens while maintaining a calm, helpful demeanor

    + Document all interactions and follow up as needed to ensure resolution

    • What You Bring:

    + 1+ year of customer service experience (call center, insurance, healthcare, banking, etc.)

    + Strong multitasking and computer navigation skills (2+ screens, web-based tools)

    + Excellent phone etiquette, active listening, and empathy

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to work independently in a quiet, secure home office

    + Willingness to be on camera during training and coaching sessions

    Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

    + Familiarity with medical terminology, claims processing, or EHR systems

    + Experience with Salesforce, Radar, or revenue cycle operations

    + Knowledge of health insurance or prior authorization workflows

    Work Environment & Schedule:

    + Training: M–F, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PT (some flexibility available)

    + Post-training shifts may include evenings (until 7–8 PM PT) and Saturdays (8–4:30 PM PT)

    + Shift bids will occur around weeks 5–6 of training

    + Must maintain schedule adherence and call quality metrics (800 sec. AHT, 90%+ quality)

    Tech Requirements:

    + Hard-wired internet (Cable, DSL, or Fiber only)

    + Minimum 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload

    + Cambia-issued equipment must be used exclusively for work

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

     

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
