About the Role:
A leading global e-commerce organization is seeking a seasoned and driven Senior Data Warehouse Engineer & Business/Data Analyst to join its newly formed Workforce Strategy & Analytics (WSA) team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of data-driven decision-making within a high-impact digital operations environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and building a modern data warehouse from the ground up, enabling scalable analytics and operational excellence across a major online retail platform.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Data Warehouse Architecture & Engineering:
+ Lead the design, development, and implementation of a scalable, cloud-based data warehouse. Architect robust data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate disparate data sources, including legacy Excel-based systems.
+ Data Integration & ETL Development:
+ Build and maintain high-performance ETL workflows using Python and SQL to ensure clean, reliable, and timely data ingestion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source, transform, and model data for analytical use.
+ Business & Data Analysis:
+ Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights that drive operational improvements. Translate complex data into clear business narratives and recommendations.
+ Operational Metrics & KPI Standardization:
+ Define and standardize key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations. Ensure consistency and alignment across global teams through centralized data governance and metric definitions.
+ Cloud Data Solutions:
+ Evaluate and implement cloud-based data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift). Provide strategic input on platform selection based on scalability, performance, and business needs.
+ Collaboration & Communication:
+ Partner with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational goals. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ 6+ years of experience in data warehouse engineering, with proven success building enterprise-scale data warehouses from scratch.
+ Advanced proficiency in SQL, MySQL, and Python for data manipulation and ETL development.
+ Strong business and data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and drive strategic decisions.
+ Experience integrating and transforming data from disparate sources, including Excel-based systems.
+ Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or similar.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality assurance.
+ Knowledge of data modeling, automation tools, and large-scale data system management.
+ Exposure to NoSQL databases and unstructured data integration.
+ Background in workforce or operations planning analytics.
+ Strong understanding of KPI development and performance measurement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $67.00/hr.
