Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist, Support Equipment Sustainment Lead in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst Support Equipment and Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Group, Support Equipment Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support the activities of equipment and systems throughout the life-cycle. You will improve system development or sustainment by implementing new integrated logistics support (ILS) management operations. You will resolve logistics management problems for an organization. You will coach integrated program team members on methods and techniques to accomplish acquisition program tasks or projects. You will assign work to logistics management specialists based on priorities, consideration of assignment difficulty and requirements, and the employee's capabilities to accomplish assignments. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-04/GS 13-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising on and performing supervisory, professional, and technical work concerned with logistics management and the associated elements of logistics as well as other sustainment work crossing engineering and program management functions; 2) Planning, controlling, coordinating, and directing, through subordinate supervisors, the activities of the personnel and resources assigned to the SE Department of Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and having wide latitude in the selection of methods, procedures, practices, techniques and means of attaining desired department goals, objectives, and tasks; 3) Determining department-wide logistics staffing levels and determining appropriate distribution of personnel, equipment, and other resources relative to assigned workload; 4) Providing adequate training, facilities, equipment, processes and providing leadership to enable department personnel to competently and successfully perform their assigned functions and tasks; 5) Providing consultation with Managers on matters relating to weapons system logistics analysis and advising SE Department Head on the operations of the Department.
