Position Overview:
Hidden Level is transforming airspace safety with innovative, scalable drone detection and airspace technology. We provide real-time, actionable data to enhance security across various environments. As we expand, we're looking for a Capture Manager to lead strategic business development efforts, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and securing new opportunities within the defense, federal and enterprise sectors. This role is critical in shaping the company’s growth strategy to maximize win probability and ensure alignment with customer needs.
**Location:** Syracuse, NY or remote - East Coast time zone preferred.
Responsibilities:
+ **Opportunity Identification & Qualification:**
1. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
2. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with Hidden Level’s capabilities.
3. Support requirements analysis to understand the specific challenges and needs of customers.
+ **Strategic Capture Planning:**
1. Lead the development of capture strategies, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.
2. Define win themes, competitive positioning, and value propositions.
+ **Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:**
1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners.
2. Gather intelligence on customer needs, procurement trends, and upcoming opportunities.
+ **Proposal Development:**
1. Work closely with the Proposal Manager and cross-functional teams to develop compliant, compelling proposals.
2. Optimize proposal content for evaluation success by ensuring that the proposed solution aligns with the customer’s needs and provides value.
+ **Teaming & Partnership Strategy:**
1. Identify and negotiate teaming agreements with strategic partners to enhance competitive positioning.
2. Collaborate with external stakeholders to strengthen technical solutions and proposal submissions.
+ **Financial & Risk Assessment:**
1. Conduct cost-benefit analysis and risk assessments for potential opportunities.
2. Ensure capture efforts align with business objectives and financial targets.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Strong understanding of Shipley Capture and Proposal methodology and government procurement processes.
+ Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple capture efforts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
+ Minimum 5-10 years of experience in capture management, business development, or government contracting.
+ Proven track record of winning competitive contracts in the defense or technology sectors.
**Compensation and Benefits:** Hidden Level offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid parental leave, flexible time off, 401(k) with employer contributions, life insurance, and disability insurance, potential stock options.
**Salary Range** : The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $125,000 to $160,000 annually. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Hidden Level considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
