CTG is seeking to fill a Functional Verification Engineering Professional Generalist opening for our client in Rochester, MN.

**Location:** Poughkeepsie, NY , Austin, TX or Rochester, MN

**Duration:** Ongoing contract

Duties:

+ Develop and implement verification environments and testbenches using advanced C++ techniques.

+ Apply both random and deterministic verification methodologies to ensure design functionality.

+ Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to understand functional specifications and define comprehensive verification plans.

+ Debug complex issues, develop reusable components, and contribute to continuous improvement of verification methodologies.

+ Document verification strategies, progress, and results for cross-functional use.

Skills:

+ Proficiency in advanced C++ programming for simulation and testbench development.

+ Strong understanding of functional verification methodologies, including constrained-random verification, coverage analysis, and assertion-based verification.

+ Familiarity with industry-standard tools and languages such as UVM, SystemVerilog, and scripting (Python, Perl, or similar).

+ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience:

+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in functional verification, with a proven track record of applying random/deterministic verification principles in real-world projects.

+ Demonstrated experience with large-scale verification environments and hardware design cycles.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $153,600 to $192,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
