About the Role & Team
The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is a vacation ownership/timeshare that gives our Guests the chance to enjoy Disney experiences around the country for years to come.
As a Compliance Analyst, your primary responsibilities will focus on ensuring legal and regulatory compliance for our timeshare and lending operations. You will analyze, assess and implement various privacy and financial regulatory compliance programs for requirements such as GLBA, AML/BSA, OFAC, and TCPA. Your role will involve monitoring legislative changes that impact applicable laws and developing execution plans to address these changes. You will also be responsible for providing recommendations to the business regarding appropriate actions to take in response to compliance requirements. Additionally, you will review Sales, Member Services, and other strategic initiatives.
If selected for the role, you will report to the Manager-Compliance, and this position is located in Celebration, FL.
This is a full-time role.
What You Will Do
+ Deliver detailed review of all sales and financial compliance programs, including but not limited to risk assessments, audits, OFAC clearances, approval of advertising credit terms, and formulating and maintaining internal procedural documents.
+ Partner with internal clients in a professional manner regarding the compliance review process, requirements, timelines, and due dates to ensure conformance to standard operating procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with all federal and state privacy and lending processes and create necessary business plans to execute.
+ Cultivate positive relationships and manage highly sensitive corporate information working closely with Disney Vacation Club partners in Legal, Sales, Accounting, Finance, and other partners (internal and external) to successfully bring programs to market/execute timely reviews and business plans.
+ Contribute to company strategic projects (research, registrations, escalations, licensing, training, auditing, document control and miscellaneous other projects/business initiatives).
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ 4+ years of experience in financial services, compliance, legal, or business affairs.
+ Proven experience and strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
+ Proven familiarity with legal research techniques and resources.
+ Familiarity with Westlaw or similar legal research applications.
+ Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex subjects clearly and concisely.
+ Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information effectively.
+ Exceptional attention to detail, with strong prioritization and organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
+ Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-functioning team of compliance professionals, and to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
+ Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
+ Proficient in the Windows Office suite of programs.
+ Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.
+ Excellence in critical thinking, collaboration, attention to detail, continuous improvement, and time management.
Education:
+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Preferred Education:
+ Paralegal or other financial compliance-related certification
