    Description:

    we are looking for a candidate that can help provide BI Reporting for our DMV Division. The candidate will be a strong technical leader working on BI Report development, gathering & documenting requirements, performing analysis, designing solutions to meet business objectives, developing specifications, developing universes and reports using SAP Business Objects, testing, and implementing solutions. Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning. Proven methodology experience for complex reporting projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Work with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend & implement solutions. Work with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment performing a variety of complex tasks. Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline.

     

    Typically requires 7 - 9 years experience or equivalent education. Ideal candidate will have experience designing BI solutions, development experience in SAP Business Objects and DW & BI Knowledge areas:

     

    1. SAP Business Objects universe and report design/development

    2. Crystal Reports

    3. Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server

    4. Infoburst

    5. Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schemas

    6. Slowly Changing Dimensions

    7. Requirements gathering and documentation

    8. Test plan development and testing execution

    9. Project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support

    10. Excellent written and oral communications 16. Independent worker

    8+ years experience with the following toolset:

    • SAP Business Objects - Universe design and development, Report design and development

    • Data Masking (TDM)

    • Databases - DB2, ORACLE, SQL Server, Complex SQL statements
