    Position Summary

    HIGHLIGHTS

    SUNY Geneseo’s Athletic Department is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Athletic Facilities & Competition Coordinator. This is a 10-month position reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics and Recreation.

     

    In this role, you will

     

    + assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of Geneseo athletic games, events, external rentals, and facilities

    + serve as the game administrator for select sports

    + assist in the hiring, training, supervision, and scheduling of event staff

    + manage student payroll for game day operations

    Required Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

    + Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, college breaks and some holidays

    + 1 – 2 years of experience in collegiate athletic event management

    + Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion as well as the ability to establish and maintain positive learning environments for students and collaborative relationships with colleagues
