    Jovian Concepts, Inc is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area. This role requires a TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

     

    As a Principal Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level systems that support mission-critical operations. You will work with ONEROOF, PITCHHITTER, NiFi, and various Systems Administration (SA) components, ensuring seamless virtualization, Linux environments, GOTS product integration, and Windows Server administration.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Architect, configure, and maintain systems utilizing ONEROOF, PITCHHITTER, and NiFi to optimize workflow and data processing.

    + Provide virtualization support, including cloud-based and on-premises solutions.

    + Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance.

    + Manage, maintain and deploy GOTS (Government Off-The-Shelf) products, integrating them within complex system architectures.

    + Oversee Windows Server administration, including performance tuning, security enhancements, and automation.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system design and operational efficiency.

    + Develop and implement best practices for system security, monitoring, and documentation.

    Requirements

    + An active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.

    + Twenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.

    + Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

    + Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
