About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team to help us continue to deliver the level of care our patients and their families deserve. In this role, you will be a vital part of placing orders, receiving inventory, and rotating medical-surgical supplies. You will help us control costs. You will receive requests, fill orders, and deliver supplies to the original requestor. You'll maintain all storage rooms in a neat and orderly fashion and maintain par levels for supplies, as appropriate. You will perform periodic inventories to reconcile supply counts and you'll process all paperwork in a timely manner and maintain files as appropriate.

What You'll Do:

+ Prepare all transactions as appropriate and maintain the audit trail for purchases, receipts, and receivables.

+ Use hospital systems to order stock and non-stock supplies and follow up until the item is received, accepted, and paid for.

+ Receive, inspect, verify, accept (or reject) all supplies and equipment. Accurately processes all paperwork, documents, GBLs, etc., as required.

+ Coordinate the distribution of supplies, which includes designating ordering days.

+ Prepare all items for return shipment.

+ Maintain neat and orderly files.

+ Perform duties with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

+ Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction.

+ Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community.

What You Bring:

+ At least one year of experience as a materials' handler/distributor; experience in a hospital/healthcare setting preferred.

+ A High School diploma or GED Equivalent.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

+ Commitment to providing patient-first, high-quality service.

+ Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
