    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are looking for a Global Marketing Director to join our NYX Professional Makeup team in the Consumer Products Division of L’Oreal USA. The Global Marketing Director is responsible for the strategic development, management, and communication of the marketing strategy pertaining to their category to international affiliates. This role is the global brand guardian ensuring all international activities are in accordance with the priorities for the brand.

    KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    * Lead the development of the category. Ideate and build breakthrough concepts for category with powerful language and storytelling

    * Create strong activation packages with clear GTM strategy and content plans for zones

    * Optimize portfolio by identifying key opportunities, white space, key deletes with replacement plans

    * Build winning FACE strategy for NYXPMU and responsible for communicating the global strategy and priorities to the countries. Main point of contact to champion brand priorities while understanding any local challenges and proposing solutions if additional elements or changes are required

    * Owns global marketing timeline to ensure that all other support teams communicate necessary information in a timely fashion

    * Provides ongoing global business analysis and competitive reviews and makes necessary recommendations to cross-functional teams including forecasting, product development, and education/training.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    * Educational Degree(s) - Bachelor’s level degree, preferably in Marketing; MBA preferred

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel

    * 7+ years of experience in the global marketing field

    * Beauty marketing experience with makeup metier

    * Proven leadership skills including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.

    * Exceptional financial acumen required including experience with budgeting and P&L management.

    * Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories.

    * Superior leadership and communication skills. Need to be able to articulate clear business direction and strategies. Also, to liaise between different departments, participate in senior level management discussions and facilitate the creative process at all levels.
