    ATI is seeking a Payroll Tax and Compliance Specialist to execute payroll operations in a fast-paced, multi-state environment. This is an onsite position, 5 days per week, in our Dallas, TX office.

     

    This role goes beyond processing payrollit ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while navigating federal, state, and local regulations and leveraging your expertise in payroll systems.     Responsibilities

    The Payroll Tax and Compliance Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of payrolls and maintaining compliance to employment laws, tax regulations, internal controls and company policies.

     

    + Administer all aspects of payroll preparation and processing for the corporate offices and other salary payrolls as needed.

    + Assist with the review of weekly/biweekly payroll processing previews to ensure accurate results.

    + Establish all new and applicable state, SUI and local jurisdictions with taxing agencies and ADP Enterprise.

    + Monitor for new state legislative changes (e.g. paid family and medical leaves, sick leaves) and update/maintain in the ADP Enterprise system.

    + Review quarterly tax reports and partner with the payroll team to resolve issues in a timely manner.

    + Maintain the master tax database in the ADP Smart Compliance portal, by monitoring and researching ongoing tax notices and potential tax filing rejects.

    + Serve as the primary contact for required SOX compliance audits by organizing the submission of payroll data.

    + Generate and distribute required month-end reports and payment requests.

    + Facilitate unclaimed property maintenance with the team.

    + Assist with year-end activities to ensure accuracy of annual W-2s.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.
