    We’re hiring a skilled **Facilities Maintenance Field Technician** in Columbus, GA to keep critical systems running smoothly. If you’ve got hands-on experience maintaining and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems—and prefer being on the move—this role is for you.

     

    This is a **temp-to-perm** opportunity where you’ll work independently, solve problems fast, and get rewarded with a **company truck and gas card** to get the job done right.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Operate, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, lighting, and more

    + Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance across facilities and grounds

    + Respond to service requests using a CMMS (Corrigo), track work orders in real time

    + Support fire, life safety, and environmental systems

    + Interact with vendors, facilities staff, and customers to coordinate repairs and service

    + Maintain safe working conditions and follow all safety protocols

    + Be ready and available for **on-call emergencies** as needed

    What We’re Looking For:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 4+ years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance

    + Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

    + Universal EPA 608 certification (or able to obtain within 90 days)

    + Valid driver’s license – **truck and gas card provided**

    + Familiarity with CMMS (Corrigo preferred), Microsoft Office tools

    + Physically able to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces

    + Strong communication, customer service, and independent troubleshooting skills

    Nice to Have:

    + Trades school or apprenticeship training

    + 3rd party technical certifications

    + Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or controls

    **Pay Details:** $35.00 per hour
