The **Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, Carrier Clinic Chair, Psychiatry, Chair** is responsible for assuring the delivery of quality clinical services for which he/she has been given oversight. Clinical services rendered should effectively address the needs of healthcare populations served. This role has knowledge of and meets the requirements of The Joint Commission, CMS, State, and other applicable regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. The VP, CMO, CC/Chr, Psychiatry, C is responsible for clinical leadership and advice/counsel to the President and Chief Hospital Executive, Central Region President, CTS EVP Behavioral Health and Board of Trustees, and others as needed on all clinical affairs, quality goals and measures, and education. The VP, CMO, CC/Chr, Psychiatry, C will also be responsible for advancing the Carrier Clinic and 'Carrier Behavioral Health' brand name on a state and national platform along with the President and Chief Hospital Executive. Included in this position are also leadership responsibilities for the Vice Chair, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
+ MD or DO degree Graduate of ACGME approved residency in Psychiatry Minimum 7 years of experience with progressive responsibility.
+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, legal documents, journals, and technical procedures.
+ Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
+ Ability to work with statistics and probabilities. Applying percentages and ratios to practical situations.
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations that have many variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in any form given.
+ Ability to use many of the advanced functions of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to: mail merge, spreadsheets with complex formulas, using outlook to manage a calendar, installing software, and creating a database. Ability to learn new complex programs as needed.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
+ Controlled Drug Substance.
+ Medical Doctor License.
+ Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
+ Board certified or Board eligible in American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
+ Continued fulfillment of Continuing Medical Education requirements as established by the ABPN; CPR and First Aid; Handle W/ Care.
+ To be approved to operate Carrier Clinic motor vehicles an employee must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to be covered under Carrier Clinic's insurance policy as outlined in the use of Carrier Clinic vehicles policies. May be asked to operate Carrier Clinic motor vehicles.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
+ MPH or MBA preferred.

Starting at $383,406.40 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
