Job Summary:
The District Warehouse Manager provides support for all warehousing responsibilities within a geographic district. This includes residential and light commercial HVAC equipment and supply facilities.

Where is the work:
+ This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
+ 60-70% Travel required
What you will do:
+ Build strong relationships and work closely with peers to influence and coach behaviors to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in warehouse operations, collaborating with local leaders to refine processes and drive overall improvement.
+ Interface directly with customers (internal and external), along with functional partners such as: Transportation, Inventory, Customer Service, and various leadership to ensure goal alignment and performance metrics are met.
+ Facilitate warehouse safety processes, including conducting safety audits, investigating incidents, and integrating safe work practices into daily operations.
+ Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse team members, including participating in performance evaluations, development, and hiring processes.
+ Leverage your Lean, problem-solving, and 5S/Kaizen or Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) experience to drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple warehouse locations.
+ Utilize your expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Oracle, and Prophet 21 to optimize warehouse operations and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
+ Initiate, plan, and support orientation and training programs to ensure team members are well-prepared and knowledgeable.
+ Assist in coordinating warehouse moves and the opening of new facilities, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.
+ Ensure inventory accuracy and quality by collaborating with field leadership and implementing effective inventory management practices.
+ Provide assistance to stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turns and maintain organization.
+ Ensure compliance with Trane standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Monitor field warehouse operations, including the successful implementation of performance scorecard metrics.
+ Provide other support services as needed to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
What you will bring:
+ Bachelor's degree preferred
+ Minimum 8 -10 years warehousing and distribution management and multi site, or large site experience
+ Ability to lead and support a safe work environment.
+ Lean or problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to coach and develop associates and peers.
+ Proven ability to follow through on commitments and details.
+ Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Team skills, both as a leader and team member.
+ High level of personal initiative coupled with good planning, organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in business and problem-solving skills (including at the consumer level.)
+ Highly self-motivated, goal oriented.
+ Demonstrated competence in computer usage. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
+ Oracle and/or Profit 21experience a plus.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $85K
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
