Koniag Emerging Technologies,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a DAI Junior Financial Analyst with an active Secret clearance to support **KET** and our government customer at the Mark Center, Alexandria, VA. **Daily onsite work is required.

Koniag Emerging Technologies is seeking a skilled DAI Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role involves analyzing financial data, supporting budget execution, assisting with financial reconciliation, and maintaining financial tracking tools. The position also includes responsibilities such as preparing financial briefings, reviewing transactions, supporting audit preparation, and contributing to month-end and year-end close processes. The DAI Junior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in system testing, monitoring funds execution, and conducting ad-hoc financial analysis as needed. Documenting financial processes and procedures will also be a key aspect of this role.
Essential functions, Responsibilities, & Duties
+ Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
+ Support budget execution and monitoring activities.
+ Assist with financial reconciliation and validation.
+ Develop and maintain financial tracking tools.
+ Support audit preparation and documentation.
+ Prepare financial briefings and presentations.
+ Review and validate financial transactions.
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
+ Support system testing and validation efforts.
+ Monitor funds execution and status.
+ Create ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
+ Document financial processes and procedures.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Bachelor of Science preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
+ Candidates must be a US Citizen with a final Secret Level Clearance, per Government requirements.
+ 1 Year of Defense Finance is preferred.
+ Experience with Hyperion is strongly preferred.
+ Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
+ Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ The individual must have the ability to work independently and develop excellent client relationships to accomplish technical tasks.
