    Required Skills:

    Data Engineer, Analytics Responsibilities:

    1. Design, model, and implement data warehousing activities to deliver the data foundation that drives impact through informed decision making.

    2. Design, build and launch collections of sophisticated data models and visualizations that support multiple use cases across different products or domains.

    3. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights visually in a meaningful way.

    4. Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.

    5. Create and contribute to frameworks that improve the efficacy of logging data, while working with data infrastructure to triage issues and resolve.

    6. Determine and implement the security model based on privacy requirements, confirm safeguards are followed, address data quality issues, and evolve governance processes within allocated areas of ownership.

    7. Solve challenging data integration problems utilizing optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, query techniques, and sourcing from structured and unstructured data sources.

    8. Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts.

    9. Influence product and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities to drive impact.

    10. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

    11. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

    12. In connection with these duties, may apply knowledge of the following: Features, design, and use-case scenarios across a big data ecosystem

    13. Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance

    14. Object-oriented programming languages

    15. Schema design and dimensional data modeling

    16. Writing SQL statements

    17. Analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies

    18. Managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients

    19. MapReduce or MPP system

    20. and Python.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    21. Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Applied Sciences, or a related field.

    22. Requires completion of a university-level course/research project/internship/thesis, or 6 months of experience in each of the following:

    23. 1. Features, design, and use-case scenarios across a big data ecosystem

    24. 2. Custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance

    25. 3. Object-oriented programming languages

    26. 4. Schema design and dimensional data modeling

    27. 5. Writing SQL statements

    28. 6. Analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies

    29. 7. Managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients

    30. 8. MapReduce or MPP system and

    31. 9. Python.

    Public Compensation:

    $186,983/year to $196,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
