    + DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

    + The Senior IT Revenue Cycle Application Analyst will focus on optimizing and supporting the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) modules of the MEDITECH Expanse EHR system. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in RCM, collaborating with clinical, financial, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration, efficient workflows, and maximum revenue capture. This role requires deep technical expertise, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to enhancing system performance, ensuring compliance, and improving the financial health of the organization.

    + QUALIFICATIONS

    + Professional/Educational

    + Bachelors degree preferred with a major in Computer Sciences field.

    + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT application support, with at least 3 years focused on Revenue Cycle Management within an EHR system.

    + Proven expertise with MEDITECH Expanse RCM modules (e.g., Patient Accounting, Billing, Claims) is required.

    + Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with hospitals or large physician practices.

    + In-depth knowledge of MEDITECH Expanse RCM configuration, workflows, and reporting tools.

    + Proficiency in SQL for querying and report generation.

    + Experience with integration tools (e.g., HL7, APIs) and cloud-based platforms (e.g., Google Cloud integration with MEDITECH).

    + Certifications (Preferred):

    + + MEDITECH READY Certification in Revenue Cycle or equivalent.

    + PMP, ITIL, or other relevant IT certifications.

    + Personal

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and meet deadlines.

    + Excellent customer service.

    + Ability to effectively manage workload including planning, organizing, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and paying attention to detail.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

     

    Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
