Job Description

The position takes a lead role in providing exemplary front-line customer service and support to internal and external constituents and provides timely, accurate, and detailed information to prospective and current students to help the College reach its enrollment and HSI goals. The position must be able to answer complex questions using professional judgment and a strong working knowledge of all areas of the college, including admissions, financial aid, and registration. The position assists with the processing and communication plan for all regular undergraduate applications, which requires extensive knowledge of all relevant Minnesota State and Riverland policies and procedures.

Salary Range:

$21.90 - $ 29.65 / $45,727.00 - $61,909.00

Minimum Qualifications

+ Minimum of one year of Customer Service experience.

+ Proficiency in computer programs, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

+ Skill in data entry and the ability to check data for completeness, accuracy, and discrepancies.

+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualification

+ Experience with ISRS, ARSA, Web Communication, and document imaging.

+ Demonstrated skills in working under pressure and within time constraints/deadlines.

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Knowledge of College, Minnesota State, Federal, State, and local laws, rules, policies, and procedures pertaining to student data privacy, FERPA, and admissions.

+ Bilingual/multilingual fluent in Spanish, Somali, Karen, Anuak, Nuer, or other languages that reflect our student body, workforce, and communities.

+ Demonstrated experience working with multicultural and underserved populations.
