    Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Systems Engineer IV to join their team. As a Systems Engineer IV, you will be part of the infrastructure operations supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a relentless passion for efficiency, and superb troubleshooting abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Systems Engineer IV

    **Location:** Candidate may be located anywhere in the USA - will include up to 75% travel to various company locations throughout the USA

    **Pay Range:** $70-75 per hour on Experis W2 (Not open to C2C engagement)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Understand how commodity servers, operating systems, and networks function, perform, and scale.

    + Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation.

    + Create processes that enhance operational workflow and provide positive customer impact.

    + Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for long-term solutions via simplification and automation.

    + Develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate performance at improving operational efficiency.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + In-depth knowledge of & experience deploying and operating Linux or other UNIX variants in a datacenter environment.

    + Experience building SQL queries

    + Strong system troubleshooting skills.

    + Proficiency and experience in automation via Perl/Python programming and shell scripting.

    + Good understanding of standard internet protocols (Ethernet, ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, SSL, DNS, HTTP, etc.).

    + Demonstrable grasp of security best practices in server configuration and access controls.
