    Primary Purpose

    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

    The Principal Board Liaison will serve as a primary liaison between executives and members of the Exelon and Operating Company Boards of Directors and will serve as the primary coordinator of the cross-functional team handling logistics for Exelon Board meetings. The Principal Board Liaison will provide analytical and tactical support to Exelon's Office of Corporate Governance (OCG) in ensuring concierge-level service to the Exelon and Operating Company Boards, including coordinating the scheduling, organizing and managing of Board meeting logistics and assisting with the drafting, coordination and distribution of confidential meeting materials and Board communications. The Principal Board Liaison will report to the Associate General Counsel - Corporate Governance, will take direction from and support OCG attorneys, and will be an integral member of the OCG team.

    Primary Duties

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    + Proactively partners with OCG team members on all planning aspects for Exelon Board meetings and other director-attended events, including the development and distribution of meeting materials using the Diligent board portal. Maintains all physical and electronic corporate records, including minutes, for the Exelon and Operating Company Board and Committees. (30%)

    + Communicates directly with members of Exelon and Operating Company Boards, senior executives and staff regarding scheduling and attendance at Board events and Exelon-sponsored activities. (20%)

    + In partnership with CEO's Office, Executive Transportation and Executive Security, provides lead coordination of attendance and transportation logistics related to Board events and provides on-site administrative support at Board meetings and events. (20%)

    + Provides administrative support for OCG team as needed, including but not limited to payment processing and reconciliations with Asset Suite, Passport and other systems as needed. (10%)

    + Manages relationships with vendors supplying products and services to OCG and Boards (10%)

    + Leads special projects and performs other duties as assigned (10%)

     

    Job Scope

    JOB SCOPE

    This is an individual contributor position that works under general supervision and frequently performs non-routine work. This position is expected to resolve most questions and problems through interaction with internal and/or external stakeholders, executives, directors, managers and staff across the organization, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. May require working extended hours, including on weekends, to support business objectives.

    Minimum Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and at least 7 years of relevant business experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, at least 9 years of relevant experience is required. Superior oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Board members and senior management. Ability to motivate and influence others with diplomacy and tact in a diverse environment. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in standard software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ability to master digital Board portal platform. Superior attention to detail and organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables and projects simultaneously, oversee complex event plans and related logistics, and deliver seamless, concierge-level service to directors and senior management. Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a high-performance culture. Demonstrated knowledge of corporate and business unit policies, procedures and practices and ability to coordinate effectively across business functions. Ability to work independently, including under tight deadlines where necessary. Willingness to travel as needed for Board meetings and events.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Previous work experience providing administrative and logistical support to a publicly traded company board of directors and/or senior management team, preferably at a large cap company.

    + Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $96,000.00/Yr. – $132,000.00/Yr.
