    Job Description

    Insight Global is searching for a VP of Home Loans for our FinTech client located in the East Bay. This position will be mainly onsite full-time, leading a growing team and working hands-on in a new position dedicated to home loans. They will be reporting to the Chief Loan Officer for the organization. In this role, the Vice President of Home Loans will lead the strategic direction and daily operations of the home lending division, overseeing approximately $4B in loans and a team of over 75 professionals across sales, underwriting, processing, product management, and systems administration. The VP will be responsible for executing a strategic roadmap that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring the department meets volume, profitability, and service quality targets. This includes managing risk and compliance, maintaining investor approvals, and ensuring regulatory adherence across all lending activities. The VP will represent the home loans business in executive forums such as ALCO and the Credit Risk Committee, and will provide regular performance updates to the CEO. They will also oversee pricing strategies, secondary market loan sales, and quality control processes to ensure operational excellence. Additionally, the VP will foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all internal policies and procedures meet regulatory and investor standards. Regular collaboration with Finance for forecasting and performance tracking, as well as handling escalated member issues, are also key aspects of the role.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    10+ years experience in home lending or mortgage

     

    5+ years in senior management within a regulated financial institution

     

    3+ years delivering loans to secondary markets (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac)

     

    o Experience managing large mortgage portfolios of $4B Proven leadership in strategic planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance

     

    Strong knowledge of federal/state lending regulations and capital markets

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

     

    Experience with DU and web-based mortgage loan origination systems 5+ years developing home loan products

     

    5+ years overseeing home loan origination

     

    Background in pricing models, interest rate hedging, and secondary marketing

    Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors null
